What secondary Fast Track?
Fast Track combines twice weekly face-to-face classes with online learning.

Do we have to do Learning Updates (Report Cards)?
Yes, teachers are required to assess students on curriculum learning outcomes and to prepare a final report for the 3-week programs and a mid-term and final report for the 6-week program.
Where do we track attendance and complete reports cards (since students are not in MyED for Summer Learning)?
Attendance* and reporting is run through the LUMENS system. Instructions will be provided on the Summer Learning TEAMS’s site prior to the start of summer learning as well as during your first staff meeting.
*Elementary attendance is done in hard copy by the classroom teacher which is then sent to the office to be entered into LUMENS by the clerical staff.

Friday, January 30 Deadline for applications

Please note that while we highly value teachers who have successfully taught in previous years in summer learning, final offers are based on a combination of our organizational needs, previous experience, human resources review, and feedback from your referrals. Previous summer learning experience does not necessarily guarantee that you will be the successful candidate. When applying, please indicate your preferences and add any relevant notes that may support your application, i.e. what you are willing to teach if your preferences cannot be accommodated, if you will not consider any position if you are not offered one of your preferred courses, etc.
