CourseGraphic Explorations in Social Studies 11 is an open, flexible course that has been designed to allow you to explore several areas within the realm of social studies at the grade 11 level. Each of the five units which make up this course has been created to prepare you for one of five social studies courses at the grade 12 level.  If, after taking this course, you decide not to take any of the grade 12 courses, that is fine. This course counts as your senior social studies credit for graduation. 

There is a $35.00 refundable workbook if returned with no markings. Alternatively, the workbook is available for purchase at cost ($35.00) should students want to write their notes in the book as they progress through the book.

Free to eligible BC Residents who are Under 19 or Adult Non-Grads - tuition cost will be eliminated in the shopping cart.

Students have one year to complete the course from registration. Students are expected to complete 5% in the first month. Students can meet with their teacher for orientation and learning support by visiting CLOC.
