Physics is the study of the physical world. Physicists investigate the nature of matter and energy and how they are related. This course is comprised of two independent modules. Module 1 is all about Mechanics and covers five major topics: Kinematic, Dynamics, Circular Motion, Energy, and Rotational Motion. Module 2 is devoted to study of Electricity and Magnetism. The application of physics to everyday situations is highlighted throughout the course.

Students have one year to complete the course from registration. Students are expected to complete 5% in the first month. Students will participate in various online activities which may include Moodle online lessons, online discussions, and e-mail interactions with the teacher. Students can meet with their teacher for orientation and learning support by visiting CLOC.
This online self-paced course is offered at the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC), located near Coquitlam Centre.
