The Summer Learning program in School District 43 provides engaging learning opportunities for students in Grades 1 through 12. All courses are taught by certified teachers and are tuition free for students meeting the usual BC residency requirements.

Skill building classes are designed to give students more time in a subject area or to provide a chance to preview a subject area. For example, a Grade 6 Math class might include students who have completed Grade 6 and would benefit from extra time. The class might also include students who have completed Grade 5 and would like to get ready for Grade 6. Middle Skill Building courses are available to all students who will be in Grades 6 through 9 this September 2019.
This summer we are pleased to offer several "Tech Ed" courses for students who will be in Grades 6-9 this September. Click here for info.
Select a class by clicking SUMMER LEARNING under the Browse menu to the left OR by selecting Courses under the location of your choice below. Click on specific classes for course descriptions.
Note: Classes do not cover the entire curriculum in the course area. They do not replace an entire grade.
Students in Grade 6 and 7 (as of September 2019) may only register for one course. Students in Grade 8 may register for two courses (e.g., a Middle course in the morning and a Secondary Skill Building course in the afternoon).
Afternoon camps are available at most elementary and middle school sites, click here for info.
