This online self-paced course is offered at our CLOC Learning Centre and has flexible start dates.  CLOC, the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (map) is located near Coquitlam Centre.  Click here for schedule and parking information.  
Students are expected to complete the course in 10 months.  Many students complete in less time.  Students are expected to complete 5% in the first month.  Students will participate in various online activities which may include Moodle online lessons, online discussions, and e-mail interactions with the teacher. Students can also meet with the teacher by visiting CLOC.  Please bring photo identification to CLOC on your visit - check the schedule to plan your visit.

This course will introduce students to the hospitality and tourism industry, including hotel and restaurant management, cruise ships, spas, resorts, theme parks, and other areas. Students will learn about key hospitality issues, the development and management of tourist locations, event planning, marketing, and environmental issues related to leisure and travel. The course also examines some current and future trends in the field.
