For anyone who is entering Grades 10 - 12 interested in nature, first people knowledge, and good food, join Fresh Roots for a unique 6-week summer employment and leadership program. Based out of the Suwa’lkh Secondary school SOYL program empowers youth to steward our schoolyard farm and forest for learning, community building, and growing Good Food for All. At the end of the summer, they will receive school credits, work experience (if they are interested) and a stipend. Be part of a fun and supportive community this summer!

This specialized course runs in conjunction with the SOYL full day program at Millside Centre. It is available by application only. Students earn credit for Environmental Science 11.

All Summer Advanced (High School) Credit courses provide a full credit course in a concentrated six week time period. Students who complete these courses will receive full credit and a final mark on their official transcript. For course descriptions see curriculum.gov.bc.ca.
