This unique summer course for Grade 6-8 students will have two parts taught by two different teachers:

Use of computers and other digital devices will give students a unique experience and skill set that they can apply in the upcoming school year to classroom projects. Students will also engage in 'unplugged' activities and games that enhance computational thinking.
2. Spend half the morning doing STEAM activities with an emphasis on the interconnectedness of subject areas. Exlpore artistic design and the science behind building and experimenting. Build structures like high-rises that have unique designs today. Discover the artistic influence in the design along with the many aspects of science and mathematics for structural design.
Note: Summer Learning is offering two sections of this course. Each section is identical, students can register for either one and have the same experience.
Middle Skill Building courses are 42 hour classes intended to build students' skills in specific curricular areas. They are not complete courses therefore do not cover the entire curriculum for a particular course/grade level.
