Chemistry 12 is designed to provide students with the fundamental chemical knowledge required for post-secondary programs in science or applied science. Topics include reaction kinetics, dynamic equilibrium, solubility equilibria, acids-bases-salts, and oxidation-reduction.
RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: Chemistry 11 or equivalent.

Students have one year from registration to complete this self-paced online course and must complete 5% in the first month. Learning takes place through Brightspace lessons, discussions, and email communication, and students can meet their teacher for orientation and learning support at the Coquitlam Learning Opportunity Centre (CLOC), located near Coquitlam Centre.
