French 10 Self-Paced ONLINE (Language Lab)

Free to eligible BC Residents who are Under 19 years of age.

This is an online course with flexible start dates that must be completed within 10 months of registration.  This course will primarily be delivered through Rosetta Stone language learning software and a supplemental course website.  Students will be required to participate in various online activities which may include Moodle online lessons, online discussions, and e-mail interactions with the teacher and can drop in to our weekly language lab once per week for extra support.  As a flexible-paced course, students should be able to work independently to complete course materials.  Students will begin this course after September 2018 and must be completed by June 21, 2019.

Note: Your computer should have Windows 7 or later (with the latest version of Firefox or Chrome), or Mac OS 10 (with the most up to date version of Safari). Your Internet browser needs to be Internet Explorer 8.0 or Firefox 3.0 or later. Computers should also have the latest Flash Player, Flash Adobe Reader, and Java installed. High speed Internet is recommended. Computers should also have a microphone and speakers or a headset.
